Another reasonably high millage day for us... that's three days in a row over 60, and let me tell you my butt is feeling it! First on our list of equipment to buy is a Brook saddle. They are very expensive but from everything we have heard completely worth it! Since they are leather it takes about 1000 miles to break them in, but almost everyone we met who used Brook saddles didn't have to wear bike shorts with the padding in them which is totally okay with me because they often give me weggies! (Funny story... spell check just changed the word "weggies" to "veggies" bahaha, no, no... I meant weggies!)
Today I successfully ate a whole large pizza in one sitting by myself! I feel that this is a huge accomplishment and I totally deserve some recognition! This will absolutely never happen again because usually I get three slices in and feel full. I don't know how many calories that is... but I'm guessing I went over the whole 2000 calorie a day diet in one meal... oh well!
Our campsite tonight is situated right next to the train tracks which means we will enjoy a whole night of train horns...fun! Also our campsite was completely occupied by gopher holes and there was nothing to do but place the tent over them. I think it would be hilarious if a gopher just popped it's head into our tent but Joe thinks otherwise! I guess we will see what happens!

PS Mom, I'm still alive.
